The Women’s Recreational Shooting Association (WRSA) was started in 1999 when five ladies met in Houston, Texas to discuss starting a shooting association for women. Their idea was to hold shotgun and handgun events around the country supporting local charities. During the three days of meetings, they developed the Women’s Recreational Shooting Association.
